Job Summary
Trinity Axis Inc., an early-stage company headquartered in Pennsylvania, is currently recruiting for a Vending Machine Technician. The individual should have experience in driving project objectives, monitoring deliverables, maintaining timelines, motivating teams with good planning and communication. We are looking for a high-performing and highly motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair and refurbish a wide variety of automated vending and/or merchandising equipment
- Load, unload, transport and install vendors, coolers and other appliances for use at customer locations
- Disassemble and reassemble appliances and replace and repair mechanical and electrical parts.
- Responsible for testing and validation of hardware and firmware
- Develop new functions and support existing microcontroller electronics and firmware
- Prepare equipment for installation; perform installation, setup and removal of automated
- Use a variety of hand and power tools such as hammer, drill, power screwdriver, skill saw or soldering irons
- Read repair manuals and liaising with other professionals
- Run tests and interpret results to make effective recommendations
- Repair or replace faulty equipment
- Fabricate any components required
- Provide time and material cost estimates before starting a job
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and best practices in the field
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time
Skills & Experience Required:
- High school diploma/relevant degree/certification/license may be required
- Min. 1 year experience as a Route/Vending Machine Operator
- 5+ years’ experience maintaining vending machines
- Experience with testing hardware of embedded systems
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and stand for long periods
- Type I Refrigeration Certification & Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license
- Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company vehicle
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and co-workers
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with vending machines
- A valid driver’s license is a must
- Reports to VP of Operations & Product Development
